Crashes after viewing a film

I like the app. very much, but with the combination of tiger and the new version of VLC 0.82 I can't get the app. to quit normally. I guess it crashes and I need to force-quit it. Any help?

Delete both the VLC-folder and org.videolan.vlc.plist in your preferences-folder (~/Library/Preferences) and try again.
