Audio Slow down like a slow record

i just got the Bluray of Start trek into the darkness. iv been noticing this issue with the latest releases of VLC. i use makemkv to rip then handbrake to compress and then i use mkvtoolnix to mux in the uncompressed audio ( i feel it sounds way better ). so when im watching the movie only during parts that are playing music (only the music) will i get a slow down of the audio like a record sounds when the turntable looses speed. if i rewind the problem goes away until the next scene. if anyone can help i would be so grateful.. aslo ive used media inspector and have noticed that this seems to happen most on movie i mux in with Dolby TrueHD

im not familiar with 2.1.0-rc2 , is this the newest update because when i ran update all i get it version 2.0.8.

It will automatically offer an update to the final version as soon as it is out.
