5.1 canals inverted ?

Postby surfdargent » 02 Aug 2005 09:23

Hi,

I read on some web page that the "center/LFE" and the "read left/rear right" canals were inverted. I indeed noticed it and I must switch the jacks accordingly so that I plug the "center/LFE" jack on the rear output and the same goes for the rear jack plugged in the "center/LFE" output.

Is this a Mac OS X only problem ? (I can't test on other platforms)
Is this going to be fixed some day soon ? (I know this is not a major problem but it is quite annoying to switch the jacks).

Regards,
Stephane

1: Have you properly setup your channels in the Audio Midi Setup Utility of Mac OS X ?
2: Are you using 0.8.2?
3: Have you reset your preferences yet?
4: Did you read the ReadMe.MacOSX.rtf file?

I have the same issue. Did everything you proposed above, but it didn't help. Any other suggestions?

thanks,

I have to correct: after a reboot, it seems to work, channels are now mapped correctly.
