Playing VIDEO_TS all blocky

I have a problem when playing DVD VIDEO_TS folders (any movie). The picture is all blocky.
When played in Apple's own DVD Player, however, the same movie is perfect, so it's not the movie. (see sample)
My Mac too slow? Hardly… It HAS worked fine in the past.
