Problem with Audio Playback

Postby meonhomes » 03 May 2013 00:56

I am new to using VLC for audio playback and have attempted to play some FLAC and MP3 files but they sound very "fuzzy" / "crackly". I have tried playing the same MP3 file through both itunes and VLC and it is perfect in itunes, horrible in VLC. I am transferring a lot of my CD's to FLAC format and it has sounded fine before, but suddenly everything sounds garbled. I am running v2.0.6 on a mac. Any ideas?

I think it's a regression in 2.0.6, which we already fixed. Would you mind testing a 2.0.7 Nightly Build of VLC to verify?

Thanks!
