VLC 2.0.5 skipping in mkv over network cuts audio

Hi,

I have all my mkv movies stored on a server over a gigabit ethernet link.

When I want to resume a movie or TV show and skip part of it, the image will play fine but no more audio. If I want to resume viewing at say 76 minutes then I will have to let it run for the whole 76 minutes before I can watch again.

No idea what is causing that, I am using VLC 2.0.5 x64 (tested with the 32 bits version, same thing) on Mac OS X 10.6.8
