audio resampling

Postby a_liles » 20 Jan 2013 22:16

I'm wondering if there is a way to configure vlc to send audio to the audio device in a more direct way such as programs like Audirvana or fidelia do. I also noticed there is an option to use the "float32" output on windows vlc but not osx. Is it possible to configure vlc to use float32 in osx?

VLC uses Float32 for a long time on OS X, since it is the most efficient audio output way on this OS.
