VLC 2.0.2 Won't Change Audio or Subtitle Track.

First Off:
Desktop PPC G5
OSX:10.5.8
I was using VLC 1.1.12, good version. Works very well and could play any file I had.
THAT was until, I tried version VLC 2.0.2. And it can not and will not change my audio track or subtitle track.
Example: I have a Japanese Movie file, its in Japanese Audio with 2nd option being in english audio. I switch to the english track and it was STILL playing the original Japanese audio. Then I tried turning off the Subtitles and it still wouldn't turn the subtitles OFF.
So I tried an Older Version of VLC 2.0.1 and 2.0.0. Both had the same exact problem can't switch AUDIO or Subtitle tracks. They Just don't work.
So I went back to version 1.1.12 and Everything Worked Perfectly.
I love your player, but this is a HUGE technical problem that hasn't been addressed.
