MKV sub and srt causes stuttering on VLC 2.0.1

Postby MisterE » 01 Jul 2012 10:05

When I play MKV movies with subtitles on or use SRT files, the video momentarily pauses right before the subtitles show up (but the audio keeps on playing just fine). If I disable the subtitles, everything works out fine. If I use SUB and IDX files there is no stuttering when the subs appear on screen. I'm using VLC 2.0.1 on OSX 10.6.8 on an Intel Core 2 Duo. Anyone have an idea of what's going on?

Looks like updating to 2.0.2 fixed the problem. Carry on!
