ass subtitle problem

Postby prestoli » 24 Jun 2012 18:36

I am running VLC 2.0.1 with Mac OS Lion 10.7.4.
I was viewing an .avi file with .ass subtitles and all looked fine but I noticed a typo in the subtitles so I went to my subtitles editor and made the correction. When I restarted VLC the typo was corrected but the font was huge, about 3x as large.
I've tried adjusting size in Preferences and restarting but it has no effect. I checked the file in my subtitle editor and the font size is exactly as it was, so I didn't change it by mistake there. Can anyone explain what's happened here and how I can get back to normal sized subs? Thanks in advance for your help.

Nightly Build of VLC (vlc-2.0.2-*.zip http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/mac ... 4-0316.zip) may help you.

If nightly builds doesn't help:
Can you paste the log messages when you play the file?
Can you share the ass subtitles file? (original and modified)
Can you play the subtitles properly with other players?
