vlc audio dropping out when using with safari

hello,
theres a repeated problem i have with VLC 2.01 on os x lion 10.7.3 on mac book pro 2.4G/core-i7 in conjunction with safari 5.1.5. when i play audio files, either flac or mp3, the audio drops out frequently, but particularly when loading web pages, and just after a web page has finished loading. could someone offer some assistance to to get this sorted please,

Please share the log when audio dropping. It's in a message window(Window -> Messages).

How about disabling "Enable time stretching audio"? (Preferences-> All -> Audio)

Increasing cache values (Preferences -> All -> Input/Codec file cache) may help.
hi, that seems to have fixed it, i ramped up all the cache levers to full (6000 ms), and it no longer cuts out, so i'll continue to monitor and report if anything else is problem.
