vertical split screen (0.8.4)

Postby w.pasman » 19 Jan 2007 21:32

I just installed vlc 0.8.4 (I'm still running OSX 10.3.3)
I also installed Quicktime 6.5.2 as that apparently is required.

When I play a movie (either .avi or .mov or .moov file) I can see the video, but the colors look greenish and the video is shown double (once in the left half and another time in the right half of the playback window).

Is this a known bug? I did some searching here but could not find anything related to this

This is a QuickTime bug in early versions of 10.3.x. As stated in the other thread, update to 10.3.9. That issue is solved as well then. :)

on an older machine that is updated as far as it can go. The previous version of VLC I had worked just fine. Do you have any patches or could you recommend a different player for me?
