Novice gets no audio with VTS

Postby glasshead » 14 Mar 2006 16:48

I downloaded a video from DIMEADOZEN.
There is no audio when VLC plays the file.
Other traders claim the audio track is fully functional.
As a bbeginner, I am totally inexperienced.
Can someone suggest how I might begin to troubleshoot this ?
The folder contents are as follows:

VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB

I have OS X.4.5 on a mac mini.

All feedback is greatly appreciated.
I am technically doltish and require much assistance while trying to learn web tech
software things, like, VLC, etc
I really appreciate the help that members provide.

All thoose ugly files are most likely in a folder called VIDEO_TS.
in the VLC menu: File->Open Disc
in the window you get select 'VIDEO_TS folder' and find the folder.
now here comes the tricky part:
press ok
