Stop flies from playing when I add them to the playlist

Postby kylemcgee » 11 Jul 2024 15:21

I have seen others comment about this, but I have seen no solution that actually works.

When I add files to the default empty VLC playlist, why does it start to play the first file? I have turned off Autoplay and messed with the various PLAY START / PLAY PAUSED settings, but it always plays when I add a file to the empty playlist.

Is there a setting I am missing? This seems like a very basic request..

Thanks!

Kyle

Did you uncheck "Auto-playback of new items" in the advanced macosx preferences of VLC? Go to Preferences -> Show All and then Interface -> Main Interfaces -> macosx
