M1 MacMini crash displaying Jpgs in a loop.

Hi!
I use VLC to present Jpgs on a screen, and after a certain amount of time the computer crashes because of no application memory left.
The last time it crashed it showed that VLC was using 44,22 GB of memory, simply showing 7 jpegs in a loop. :/
Any suggestions?

Computer: M1 MacMini running 13.6.6
VLC version: 3.0.20

Hi, can you share the exact steps to reproduce this issue?

I just tried playing some JPEGS looping the playlist several times and can not see any exceedingly high memory usage.
