Since upgrading to this release I have audio stutter. It only occurs in VLC Player and only in this version. I have tried increasing the File Caching to 15,000 ms, turned off Hardware Decoding and altering the Caching Level in basic settings. None of this has really helped.

I am running macOS Monterey 12.5.1

I am having the same issue. I thought it had to do with the encoding of a FLAC I was using, since it always seemed to stutter in the same spot and re-encoding it with a different app helped, but it's happened with multiple files now. (Mac Pro 5,1, both Big Sur and Monterey 12.6.2) (And I've used VLC for years on this computer, without any issues until this update . . .)

Was getting a error message when i try to download utube videos Message as follows (Your input can't be opened:VLC is unable to open the MRL 'https://www.youtube.com/get_video_info? ... isrJIF0qbY'. Check the log for details.)
last time i checked, didn't even get error message anymore, just will not download online video's.
What do i need to do to fix the problem ?

Yeah, for me its mostly FLAC files that stutter, I got one today that plays for 30 secs then hangs. After a delay skips on to next file in playlist, starts, plays 13 secs, hangs, delay, next file, etc. These files play perfectly well in macOS itself in Quickview (I think I did something a long time ago to make that work, but hey, they play there but not in VLC Media Player).

I have the same issue but notice it is only happening with files encoded by flac 1.3.1.

BTW, OSX Monterey 12.6.2, using 3.0.18, some mkv files subtitles and all OSD texts (volume etc) are blurry and unfocused. Using 3.0.17, all subtitles and OSD texts are crisp and clear.

Ok, great, because i also have audio stutter, mostly with flac. But also with .mp3 files, so please keep that in mind, too. Thx.
