OSX 10.10.5/VLC Media Player 3.0.18
Does this app have an alarm that will autoplay an online radio station at a preset time?
Or is there a free downloadable app that causes VLC to autoplay an online radio station at a preset time?
I formerly used iTunes Alarm w/iTunes.

If you want your problem to be solved :* First read troubleshooting guide VSG:Main
* Always provide verbose LOGS ! (command line or from gui)
* Always check your issue against a developer build from Nightly Build of VLC
* Tell us when your problem is solved !

Given the complexity of VLC, its strange that an alarm is not in it.

We don't run VLC as a background app that is aware of the date or time. However, you can probably script that or use Shortcuts.app to achieve this feature.

2008 iMac/ OSX 10.10.5/Firefox 78.15.0esr 64-bit.We don't run VLC as a background app that is aware of the date or time. However, you can probably script that or use Shortcuts.app to achieve this feature.
I used iTunes Alarm to play an iTunes radio stream when my computer awakened in the morning. No technical knowledge was needed. But Apple disabled most of iTunes so I use VLC to play online music stations. I dont know anything about scripts. Shortcuts.app does not exist. Is there an VLC alarm? Or another very simple method using VLC to awaken me with streaming music?
