Quickly changing tone-mapping algorithms?

Hello,

While I still have an old 1080p tv, I'm starting to use 4K HDR content. To make the content look good, I search the best tone-mapping algorithm. It works pretty well, but it's a long process.

Right now I go to the preferences, select "Show All", Video, Output Modules, MacOSX and then select a new algorithm. I then have to quit VLC and re-open the 4K file. If the algorithm isn't good, I have to start all over again to try all of them one by one.

Is there a way to do this better?
