Display Current Time into Video to Stay on Screen?

Currently, I press T during video play, displaying the time momentarily.

I don’t see this in the VLC help facility. On MacOS, VLC isn't recognized at command prompt, despite having VLC GUI.

Never Mind . . I found it . .
I just had to search on "elapsed time" instead of "time stamp" . . thanks anyway, sorry if I wasted anyone's time
