I need to merge two videos, but when I open the last version of VLC on my MacBook pro, I do not get the menu "MEDIA" of VLC; I can only read videos, not work on them.
What can I do?

You cannot merge media with VLC correctly. On Mac, consider the "File" menu to be your "Media" menu.
