encode H.265?

I read elsewhere that VLC will encode H.265. When I pull down the menu to select the Codec I do not see H.265 as an option. Does VLC encode to H.265?

Uh, yes... it's among the first few choices in the conversion wizard.

Thanks.... I'm using a Mac and the latest VLC.. How do I post an image of the list of Codecs that I get? .....No H.265

You're right, it's not among the choice on MacOSX. It can encode it but the UI will need a fix.
