Recents History is not Visible

For a very long time I'm facing an issue on VLC. The recents files history is not visible on vlc. Altho the player does remembered the videos I open but It doesn't show them at all.

Some infos:

# I have downloaded vlc via homebrew.
# I'm only using 1 plugin (https://github.com/nurupo/vlc-pause-click-plugin)
# I've uninstalled reinstalled VLc and even coincidentally some months ago I did a full reinstall of the MacOS operating system.

Does it help to reset VLC's preferences?
