MAC M1 - PITCH CHANGER

VLC player on PC + Windows - there is an option in Tools - Audio Effects - Advance to changer on the fly the Pitch of a video or audio.
But installing VLC on Macbook Air M1 processor: there is no Tools in the menu, and in Window -Audio Effects there is no pitch control.
Is there anything to be done to activate Pitch on Mac?
Why is that so?

We just didn't come around to add that option to the macOS interface. It will come in version 4. We cannot backport the implementation to version 3 as this would introduce new strings to localize.

Thank you for your replay.
1. Do you know then version 4 will come out?
2. This feature is very important to me. I spent quite a time looking for any app/program that will do it on Mac, and could not find any.
Found only for audio files, but no played that can change pitch for a video file, on the fly.
It's was so frustrating that I thing of selling the Macbook and go back to pc... L((
