How to link VLC to Appletv on macbookpro?

I have a MacBook pro with macOS big sur and the latest version supported of Vlc.

Also you do know that VLC has an AppleTV version of the player? Requires tvOS 11.0 or later

Thanks for the information.
Actually I did not manage to use the VLC apple tv version, it is empty and I do not get how to add files.
So I used the video solo info, now I can add the video file to vlc but when I click play nothing happens. I do not have an error message so I am not sure where to look for....
Any chances you have an idea why now it is in the playlist vlc does not open the video?
