Error running VLC from the terminal on OSX

I'm using MacOS BigSur 11.1
I cloned this git repo: https://github.com/videolan/vlc-3.0

I followed the build instructions and it worked fine: https://wiki.videolan.org/MacOSCompile/
However, when I try to run VLC from the terminal, I see this error:

I checked the error and I only see problems related with XCode, but I'm not directly using Xcode to compile this.
Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

You need to execute vlc from the build folder as follows:

./bin/vlc-osx-static

Then it works.
