M1 Apple silicon issues

I've been using VLC since I bought my macbook pro M1 and at first when I was using the intel version the performance was flawless and the battery life was also good and had less bugs and the play/pause/forward/back bars were apt to the video at the center and overall was very good then I installed this apple silicon version where I started to face a lot of issues and I'm really worried about the glitches here and there and while forwarding in the video there are lags, framedrops and glitches, and I feel the battery life got worser than the intel version. and I didn't expect a native app as this. I'm looking forward that you guys will make it good soon through a major update.

It would be good if you can detail more what you mean exactly with "glitches".
