No Blu Ray menu on specific title - Parasite

Most of the time the current version of VLC is playing decrypted Blu Rays fine, with support for menus. However, for Parasite (2019), I don't receive any error messages related to Java, but the disc plays a black screen for roughly one second. If I turn of Blu-Ray menus entirely, no problem playing the media.

I have tried current nightly builds of both VLC 3 and VLC 4, no change in behavior. I have also used Homebrew on the Mac to install the latest version of libbluray, with no change in the outcome.
