Apple M1 MacBook Pro exporting wav file

I'm using VLC 3.0.12.1 Vetinari (Apple Silicon). Today I needed to export an .mp4 to a .wav file. The .wav file format wasn't an option under profiles. Created a custom and saved it but just thought someone should know it's not there. I'm a VLC noob..... so if this isn't posted in the correct forum, please forgive me. I also searched first and didn't find anyone with the same issue, so it could be my own stupidity as well. Thanks, Van

Indeed there is no default profile for this, but as described by you, it should be possible to create a custom one
