VLC RTSP - Motion Artifacts

I’m using VLC to display and save the RTSP stream from Amcrest IP2M-841 and IP3M-941 cameras, used for wildlife monitoring. Overall VLC works fine. But if the wildlife move quickly the stream exhibits motion artifacts like heavy pixelation and ghosting. I’m using the default settings. Are there any settings to reduce/remove these artifacts?
