Colours are showing up in reverse upon viewing a video

Greetings,

Every video I try to play shows up in reverse colours. It reminds me of the old film days when you would develop negative film from a camera.

All help to get the normal colours back will be appreciated.

Click: Tools -> Effects and Filters -> Video effects -> Colors -> Negate colors; then either select or unselect the box as needed to correct the issue.
