No renderer (Chromecast not detected)

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. I don't know where else to ask about this problem I have. So I have Chromecast and I have connected both my Macbook and Chromecast to the same wifi. When I tried to cast a video to my Chromecast, the VLC couldn't detect my Chromecast and it stucked at "No renderer" under Playback > Renderer. I'm using the latest VLC, which is 3.0.11. I have been looking everywhere for the solution but I couldn't find one that applies to my problem. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks a lot!!
