Trouble signing into server-AppleTV app and Mac

Having trouble connecting to the server on the AppleTV app. I am using the username and password from my Plex account. Any help would be appreciated. My VPN has been turned off. I see the plex account on the AppleTV app and am using port 32400. Connect to to server fails. Thank you for your assistance.
