warning - MacOS Blocks access

I just updated VLC to ver 3.0.10
When I drag a folder of videos from the desktop to the playlist window, I get a warning. (see attached)



The videos still play fine though. I have given VLC player full disk access in my security preferences.

I have the same error in the same situation tried uninstalling all preference files with app does not help

i went back to 3.0.8 that works fine turned off auto updates. https://get.videolan.org/vlc/3.0.8/macosx/vlc-3.0.8.dmg

Sorry, there is a problem at the moment where this message is shown too often. Also, this message only applies to the latest macOS version. Please just ignore it for now. It will be fixed in the next update and access to your files will usually just work fine despite the message stating the opposite.

Are you guys releasing a fix soon? I'm getting these warnings for all of my files and it's quite annoying.

Yes. It should be out in a couple of days at most.
