Deactive menus option when converting DVD files to M4V

Postby eldams » 17 Apr 2020 18:46

Someone sent me some DVDs by saving the files (VIDEO_TS / AUDIO_TS) into a hard drive. I can play the disc with VLC without any problem, but I can't convert it into a M4V file because the convert option doesn't propose to "deactivate menu", at least for Mac.

When I choose "open a stream", there is a checkbox "deactivate DVD menus" which is really convenient, I can read the DVD directly starting on with 1st chapter. But this checkbox is not present in the "convert" dialog box, and the conversion loops on the menu.

Maybe I did miss tomething or there is a workaround, also I suspect this is only a Mac issue. Please help!

By the way: the "open media" button doesn't allow to choose a folder (but you can still drop the folder).
