Trouble ripping BluRay discs in VLC

Postby paulolpop » 28 Mar 2020 06:46

Today I installed a new to me BluRay drive in my 2010 Mac Pro running High Sierra. When I try to rip any BluRay movies under convert/save, I get told over and over again that the output file already exists. Ultimately I have to force quit VLC to get it to stop. I can play the movies just fine after installing the library/codec, I just can't rip anything. I read elsewhere about making sure that I had repeat deselected, which it is. I made sure of it by checking the bottom of the window and making sure any repeat options were deselected under "Playback" in the menu bar. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
