cloning windows

Hi everyone.

Upon setting up the ideal presentation mode for VLC I came across a problem. I wanted to clone the video output so that I have two video-windows, one of which will be on an external screen
But if I tick 'clone filter' in the splitter topic (in settings menu under video) VLC is only outputting sound... and no video windows. Also if I select 2 or more clone windows in the clone topic of the settings menu....

Same goes for video wall, VLC is just outputting sound as soon as I tick the 'Video wall' or 'Clone' boxes in the splitter menu.

Hi,

It will probably be fixed in 4.0 release as it basically can't support hardware acceleration in 3.0 and I'm not sure you can output non-accelerated frames on macosx. Maybe a solution will be found eventually.
