Audio lagging after skipping forward or back OS X

I never had this problem before, and it seems to have started randomly. Every time i hit the arrows or </> keys I have configured for skipping forward and back, the audio lags for about half a second and then resumes. However, the audio does not seem to be out of sync after the lag. Anyone else experience this/have a work around?

Same problem here, except that mine doesn't reset automatically. Also, oddly, I can't use the F and G keys to fix it. Whichever way I go with F/G ( audio advance, delay) it just gets more out of synch, with the video always lagging the audio.

The only way I can get the audio to re-synch is to open the "Track Synchronization" window, set the audio delay/advance to a few seconds then hit the "reset" button in the same window.

Note also that using the <cmd>arrow keys to track skip was very slow.

I've given up and rolled back to 3.0.0, which works fine from skipping and audio point of view.

Source in my case is .iso image on Mac hard drive.

Hi, can you provide logs ? I believe this is an issue solved in 4.0 by the rewrite of the whole clock system.

To help you, we need messages, to completely understand what your problems is.
To fix this, please be sure before you start the playback to:

1. Open: Tools -> Messages.
2. Set Verbosity to 2
3. Start playback to reproduce your issue
4. Save text in a file or copy into clipboard
5. Then paste the full resulting log here between [​code]and[​/code] (or use Pastebin.com if it's too long)

Also don't forget to name your Operating System and provide the VLC media player version.

I tried but the message log is too big. Pastebin doesn't work.

Mac OS 10.11.6

VLC Version 3.0.6 Vetinari (Intel 64bit)

Disc is an iso image stored on Mac HD and mounted.

I couldn't find

No option to set verbosity in messages.
