I have been using vlc for years on both Mac and PC, more recently the player has stopped working. I've uninstalled and re-installed ( several times ) because when trying to play media VLC opens then quits unexpectedly.
I've read the forum intro information and have followed the instructions to load one of the nightly build patches but still no success
