When I was looking for videos triggering a flickering issue I was experiencing, I came across a couple that on my system display mostly in green since VLC-3.0.0-20170421-0445.
Steps to reproduce:
- Download a recent VLC nightly, starting with build 3.0.0-20170421-0445
- Visit the Kodi samples page and download the third or fifth entry of section 3 (which respectively link to <https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwxFVk ... sp=sharing> and <https://mega.nz/#!XI1yiKLA!rF4vweNo_xA7 ... 1m6WIJ5lT4>).
- Try and play the video.
Actual result: The video is mostly green.
Both video streams are interlaced H.264 content (no further samples with this property have been tested).[1] The self-built release that seems to trigger the issue is 2.2.0-git-12277-g6c4fb66184 (commit 6c4fb6618432051b126d9b6b60b2cef4046280d0). VLC on Windows running inside a VirtualBox instance does not seem to have this problem; other systems are untested.
Is anybody else experiencing this? Cheers.
