How do I Cue up an item in the playlist?

Postby chmedly » 06 Dec 2016 17:13

I must be missing something simple. I'm using version 2.2.4 on a Mac. I've found that there are 2 selection indicators in the playlist. An item may be selected in blue but this does not have any bearing on what item will play. Instead, when the item name is bold it is the "active" item. But, I've not found a way to select which item is active except by double clicking with the mouse which unfortunately also starts playing that item. I simply want to cue up the item with the intention of triggering it with the space bar. It would seem, from reading the documentation, that cmd-left or cmd-right would move the active selection up or down but I've found this only works when an item is actually playing. If the player is stopped, cmd-left or cmd-right don't appear to do anything.
So, is there a way to cue up a playlist item?

Thanks for any help you can offer.
