Disabling Auto Snapshot for Videos & Capture Devices

Postby BT SHT CRZY » 02 Sep 2016 20:15

I recently came across around 40,000 Snapshots saved on my drive. I don't recall setting this as a preference and have been unsuccessful at locating a preference setting deactivate the Auto Snapshot action. It activates both when playing video and viewing via a capture device.
Have I missed something?

If you cannot find the option to turn it off, you can reset all preferences to default.

If you selected Video Scene Filter to configure output as a series of photos once, and left Scene Filter checked, it may be applied each time you play a video.

The method of configuring options first, then applying them during video access works well, but you can forget you left selections checked and they run each time you access a video.

If there is more than one way to configure snapshots from video, that may make it easier to forget you tried one method when you begin using another...or don't ever knowingly use that tool again.
