playlist glitch

I'm running a vlc playlist on a mac mini 24 hours a day
every few days, the player will stop and display an empty playlist
i am adding and deleting files to the playlist every day, and saving as a new playlist every day
any suggestions?

I'm encountering the same issue with v221.

Keep losing my playlist after a restart.
