after Compiling vlc 3.0 not able to play mp4

I've got a: OS X -Yosameti

Hello Everybody,

I compiled with this tutorial :: https://wiki.videolan.org/OSXCompile
after that I did in /contrib/build --> "make .lua"
then in my top VLC directory "export PATH=$PWD/contrib/x86_..:$PWD/extras/tools/build/bin:$PATH"
and in VLC/build finally "make" .

All of that was needed because lua was not installed.

Now my VLC player worked fine but it doesn' t played mp4. ??

Can some one help me??

You need to be more verbose about what you mean with "doesn't play".

Mine doesn't play MP4 either. I only get sound but no video. No one has an answer to correcting this problem yet.
