Is it still possible to get VLC 2.1.5?
VLC 2.2.1 does not work properly with:
H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1)
Planar 4:2:0 YUV

The video judders under Yosemite 10.10.3

I uploaded a teaser video you can watch for free on a website, so I think it is ok to upload the clip.
Please, handle with care and/or remove the video after having it analysed.
Compare video playback in VLC 2.1.5 and 2.2.1, you’ll see the difference.
Let me know when you have managed to resolve the problem...
