VLC starts automatically when downloading MP4's files.

Everytime I download a MP4-file, VLC player automatically plays the file. It's only doing it with MP4-files and nog with MOV's, M4V's or other video files.

I searched the preferences in VLC, but I couldn't find a solution to stop autoplaying the files when the files come in my download folder.

Does somebody know how to fix it?

If you're using Safari, maybe Safari's Preferences --> General --> deselect Open "safe" files after downloading.
