Normal size (cmd+1) and double size (cmd+2) not working on 2.2.1

Postby tade » 08 May 2015 23:47

I try to resize the video but the only thing working is cmd+3 (fit to screen).

I have an external display hooked up to my retina mbp.

anyone else having this problem?

Try pressing the "O" (Ohh) key until it's set to "Scaled to screen" to see if that works.

You need to allow VLC to resize the interface (the option is named "Resize interface to the native video size"), probably you unticked this option.

They are not working for me either! "O" doesn't make the same like cmd+1 and the "Resize interface to the native video size" option is ticked. These function (normal size) was working very well in the previous version. What is the problem now?

Hello!

I sort of had the same problem.

It happened to me a while ago, that I couldn't get into fullscreen mode - or any other resize function for that matter. I had to manually resize the window, and i'd still had all those bars. On top and the bottom and everything.
Very annoying. Rebooting MacBook didn't help, and restarting the application didn't either (did that before of course). Somehow after a while, without me doing anything everything was okay again.

Just now I had the same problem occuring again, and I didn't do anything to trigger the problem... I did download a subtitle with VLCsub thing, but the previous time i didn't do that and it happened too, so I don't think that was the cause.

Anyhow, I fixed it by resetting my settings to default.
Maybe it'll help for you too! If your problem isn't fixed yet that is.

Good luck! :)
