Weird dimensions of my video (screencast)

Postby Dims » 05 Mar 2015 00:13

Hi, I'm Dimitri, sorry first if my english is bad but I'm not english

So, I've the 2.0.6 version of vlc and I want to screencast, when I try to do this, it work but even if I change in the setting to "quicktime player", the dimensions stay really weird like if I'm on pc, the icon is a white page.

I can read my video with VLC but not with quicktime or anything else, how can I do it?

My settings in the screencast options are : 30 fps
video h264

Thx to your help

I'll help clarify your problem. You used VLC to screencast, but you can't use other software to play this screencast video besides VLC?
Have you tried converting the screencast to a different format/codec?

I'm not sure. It could be the software you are using doesn't work well with the codec you converted to. Why can't you just use VLC to play the screencast?
