Apologies if this is not the appropriate place for this, but I don't know where else to go.
I have been using VLC for a long time, and have preferred using the nightly builds in order to be as up to date as possible. However, I believe I may have encountered an audio issue in the 3.x series nightly builds.
When running the latest VLC 3.x series nightly on the current Public Beta of OS X Yosemite, DVD audio is fragmented as though it were being output through an improperly configured surround setup, despite only having the internal stereo speakers. As an example, music is exaggerated, and other audio such as sound effects and voices are almost mute.
I had considered the possibility that it was a Yosemite Beta issue, but that was dispelled when the issue did not surface when trying the latest 2.2.0 nightly build.
I have changed over to the 2.2.0 nightlies for the time being.
