uPNP Yellow Triangle Mavericks

Postby porkbelly » 21 Jan 2014 05:08

Ever since I installed mavericks, VLC will not open uPNP servers on my local network. I can see the server, but it has a yellow triangle next to it and the arrow does not expand when I click on it.

VLC still works on my network from an older mac running Snow Leopard, and DNLA still works from my PS3.

I have downloaded the latest version of VLC and I cannot get it to work. Any ideas I can try?

This is a known issue we are working on. Regrettably, I can't give an estimate when this work will be done and released.

I take it this is still an issue? I almost contemplate downgrading my Mac just to get this feature back.

This is still a problem in 2.1.5. I'll have to down grade back to 2.0.9. :(
