Is UPNP working in 2.1.4?

When I click on Universal Plugn'Play in the VLC sidebar it just shows an empty list. I have a Plex DLNA/UPNP server running that shows up in my VLC iPhone app but not VLC on Mac. Am I doing something wrong or is this not supposed to be working in 2.1.4?

This is still a problem with VLC 2.1.5 on the MAC.

Ever since 2.1, uPNP (DNLA) does not work on the MAC.

I keep having to use 2.0.9.

I'm new to UPnP and DLNA. I set up my router to be a DLNA server but it wasn't working. I was clueless. Finally found this. Downgraded to 2.0.9 and things started working.
